Funds & SMSF
General information only. Not financial product advice. Not tax advice. Atlas never places brokerage orders.
Atlas / TSAI.B is general information only, not financial product advice, not tax advice. SMSF trustees, fund managers, and institutions remain responsible for their own strategy, licence, and lodgements. Using Atlas does not make a trade an SMSF-compliant investment. No brokerage orders.
1. Self-managed super (SMSF trustees)
If you use Atlas as an SMSF trustee, you still have to meet ATO and SIS Act duties. Atlas does not replace the trustee’s written investment strategy, auditor, or accountant.
Sole purpose test
The fund exists to provide retirement benefits (or death benefits), not present-day personal use. This is the sole purpose test under SIS Act s62.

Written investment strategy
A written investment strategy is required. Review it regularly and record why each investment fits the strategy. Listed ASX securities are a permitted class (listed security on an approved exchange) — they still must fit the fund’s strategy and sole purpose. Atlas does not replace the trustee’s investment strategy.
Arm’s length and ownership
Investments must be at arm’s length, commercial, and with clear legal ownership by the fund.
In-house assets — 5%
In-house assets (a loan to, investment in, or lease to a related party) must not exceed 5% of fund market value. If over 5% at year end, you need a written plan to get back to 5% or below by the end of the following year.

SMSF trustees remain responsible. Atlas never places brokerage orders. Dated fills for accountant packs live at /tax/cgt (your login only).
2. Private / company fund managers
Private and company fund managers can use the same research board as other Atlas users. Holdings are isolated per login. Session clip sizing is advisory (not a dump). Dated fills can feed an accountant pack at /tax/cgt.
You still need your own AFSL or other licence and mandate. Atlas is not a managed fund product from TSAI.B. Atlas never places brokerage orders.
3. Institutional investors
Institutional investors get the same research board, per-login holdings isolation, clip sizing, and dated fills for working papers. Mandate, licence, and best-execution stay with the institution. TSAI.B is not offering a managed fund product. Atlas never places brokerage orders.
